Carburator und Zündsystemproblem

does`nt work verry well as you may have noticed in my
first message. I`ve had my nice audi for about 3 years
now it passed 160.000km last week :) the egnine is in
mint condition besides ofcourse the settings.
A little history about my car:
it was bought in 1978 by my granfather
who mostly used it to drive to the store (shop)
the car passed on to me in year 2001 afte standing
in his garage for 3 years, there was a lot to be fixed.
the car used 2.5 liter pr 10km when i startet fixing
it, also the brakes did not work propperly because the
breaking fluid was verry old and full of water.also
the carburator leaked witch was the main reason for
the high fuel usage, i changed the carburator, changed
the breaking fluid. but the engine has never functioned
propperly because i never had the right settings
